One Simple Facebook Setting that Might be Holding you Back
Have you ever had someone comment on your Facebook post “make this shareable!” or “change your settings so we can share this!” and wondered what the heck they’re talking about? Don’t feel silly, I see it happen constantly.
Whether you’re a Realtor sharing an Open House, New Listing, or an owner of an Aunt Annie’s Pretzel Shop and your sharing that you’re now offering a student discount…you want the post to be public. Check out the video above for the details on how to change your settings.
Examples of posts that should be public:
-I’ve been named Jacksonville Magazine’s Top Realtor of the Quarter!
-Our family Pizza Shop is now offering a Military Discount!
-As an experienced Swimming Instructor and coach, I’m now offering private lessons! Share with your friends.
-Sweet Golden Retriever found in the Ponte Vedra area! Please share so we can find his owner!
This little tweak is going to allow your posts to be seen and shared on Facebook, which is exactly why Facebook was created.
Check this setting, try it out, and let me know if it helps you at all!
